The Safia rug is a hand-knotted woollen rug in black. It is made with a modernised version of the traditional Khotan motifs. The rug has a distinctive look to it because of its geometrical structure that arranges the motifs and patterns in an angular manner. This rug is part of the Amira collections that brings together Oushak and Khotan motifs in intense color combinations. The Safia rug has a hypnotic appeal because of its black palette which makes it incredibly chic. Though traditional, the rug is quite versatile and can be accommodated in a multitude of spaces. It comes with a double luster vintage wash.
