Obeetee Warranty Policy

At OBEETEE, we take pride in our craftsmanship and the quality of our products. All items are covered under a limited warranty of up to 24 months against manufacturing defects, depending on the product category as detailed below.

 

How to Report a Defect?

If you suspect a defect covered under our warranty, please email us at customercare@obeetee.com or WhatsApp us at +91-9559140222 with:

• Minimum 3 to 5 clear photos of the affected product
• Proof of original purchase (invoice or receipt)
  
  

Upon verification, if the issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect, we will offer the best possible resolution—repair or replacement. Replacement will only be provided if repair is not feasible.

Note: Warranties are non-transferable and valid from the original date of purchase of the original order.

Carpets

Weave Type	Warranty Period
Hand Knotted, Tibetan, Patchwork	24 months
Hand Tufted, Handloom, Flat Weave, Shag, Hand-Woven	6 months

Expected Carpet Lifespan (with proper care)

• Hand Tufted / Handloom / Flat Weaves / Dhurries / Moroccans: 5–8 years
• Low Knot Hand Knotted (30–80 knots): 8–12 years
• Medium Knot Hand Knotted (100–180 knots): 8–15 years
• High Knot Hand Knotted (200–300 knots): 15–25+ years

Lifespan depends significantly on usage and maintenance.* 

 

Not Covered Under Carpet Warranty:

The following issues are not considered manufacturing defects and are therefore not covered under warranty:

• Shedding of fibers (can be minimized with regular vacuuming on low power)
• Sprouting, pulls, or loss of single tufts of fiber
• Color and texture variation due to natural fibers, dyes, or exposure to sunlight, humidity, or atmospheric elements
• Folding or rolling marks (these typically fade with routine vacuuming)
• Matting or crushing from use or furniture weight (can be managed with proper care)
• Temporary odors due to packaging (usually dissipate by placing the rug upside down in sunlight for 24 hours)

 

Furniture

• Covered under a 3-month warranty for manufacturing defects only.
  

Not Covered Under Furniture Warranty:

• Damages caused by misuse, mishandling, or improper assembly
• Wear and tear due to regular usage
• Damage due to exposure to sunlight, water, or extreme environmental conditions
• Stains, discoloration, or scratches due to usage or cleaning methods
• Any modifications or repairs not performed by OBEETEE
  
  
  

Cushions & Throws

• Not covered under warranty.
  

Why?

Cushions and throws are subject to normal wear and tear based on frequency of use and environmental factors. This includes:

• Fabric pilling
• Color fading
• Filling compression over time
