Case Study: Janet/Harini Residence, Hyderabad

The Project

The Hyderabad home of Janet/Harini was conceived as a serene, tactile residence where every element -from the upholstery to the flooring -functioned in comfort. The client's brief was straightforward but detailed: to design bespoke textured solid carpets that would introduce warmth and dimension to the home's neutral, modern interiors.

It was a simple requirement that quickly became an extremely collaborative design exercise involving the homeowner, interior designer Janet, and our Obeetee team that was headed by Sukanya and Rachana. The homeowner had a definite visual reference point in mind, and our challenge was to interpret that clarity into material form -something that is lived-in but luxurious, understated yet rich in character.
